Aquarium of Cattolica
The Aquarium of Cattolica is located inside buildings, dating back to the '30s, whose shapes evoke a naval fleet.
The structure was originally conceived as a summer camp to accommodate the children of Italians living abroad.
The careful restoration, completed in June 2000 under the auspices of the Superintendence for Environmental and Architectural Heritage, brought back to its former glory and has enhanced the buildings throughout the area, rich in history and maritime traditions.
The aquarium covers an area of 110 thousand square meters, overlooking the sea, perfectly integrated into the urban fabric of Cattolica and offers extensive parking.
In the great outdoors, freely accessible as public park (over 49,000 square meters), you can use the following services: relaxation areas, adjacent beach, restaurants, bars, theme shops, green spaces, children's entertainment, shows, exhibitions, cultural events , conference and sports.
